freerdp-x11 software package provides RDP client for Windows Terminal Services (X11 client), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freerdp-x11
freerdp-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freerdp-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freerdp-x11 *
You will get with freerdp-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
